Backed by marquee investors such as Peak XV (erstwhile Sequoia India) we are already a trusted partner for top Indian brands including Apollo, Fortis, Narayana Health, and Aster Group.Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst who will transform raw data into meaningful insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL for data extraction and analysis and Power BI for visualization and reporting, along with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract, clean and analyze large datasets using SQL to support business needsDesign, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reportsTranslate business requirements into data models, KPIs and visual insightsPerform data validation, quality checks and ensure accuracy of reportingAutomate recurring reports and optimize existing data workflowsWork closely with Product, Operations, Finance and Leadership teams to understand analytical needsIdentify trends, patterns and opportunities through exploratory data analysisCreate and maintain documentation for datasets, dashboards, and reporting logicOptimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalabilityRequired Skills and QualificationsStrong hands-on experience in SQLProven expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, publishing, refresh scheduling)Solid understanding of relational databases and data structuresExperience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into insightsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in Excel for data analysis and validation
