Location: RemoteExperience: 5+ yearsShift timing: 7 PM to 4 AMAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior IT & Network Security Engineer to strengthen and secure our enterprise IT environment. This role is primarily focused on cybersecurity and network security, while also handling secure cloud environments.The position is hands-on and technical, suited for a senior individual contributor who works across security engineering, secure networking, cloud security, and endpoint protection, without people-management or IT operations leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across enterprise IT, cloud, and network environmentsMonitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, alerts, and vulnerabilities across systems and networksAct as an L2/L3 escalation point for complex cyber security, network security, and infrastructure issuesDesign, configure, and manage secure network architectures, including VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, and access controlsMonitor network traffic and security events to detect anomalies, threats, and suspicious activityImplement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organizationPerform vulnerability management, system hardening, and security patching across endpoints, servers, and cloud resourcesSecure and manage Azure cloud environments, including identity, access control, and workload protectionAdminister endpoint and device management solutions (Intune, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Jamf) to ensure compliance and security postureEnsure secure user, device, and access onboarding/offboarding across IT and cloud systemsSupport security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives, including documentation and evidence collectionMaintain comprehensive security documentation, including incident response plans, SOPs, configurations, and runbooksMonitor system performance, availability, and security alerts, escalating issues as requiredSupport hybrid and remote-access security requirements while ensuring secure connectivityParticipate in 24×7 on-call rotations for security and critical IT incidentsCollaborate with IT, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to embed security into system design and operationsSupport ITIL-aligned processes including Incident, Problem, and Change ManagementStay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategiesSupport IT asset management, software licensing, and compliance tracking from a security standpointRequired Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security, IT Security, or Infrastructure Security rolesStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing)Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity practices and toolsExperience securing cloud environments (Azure preferred)Experience with endpoint security and device management (Intune, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Jamf)Strong experience in cloud security for Azure and AWS environmentsHands-on experience with Microsoft Defender (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity)Experience managing and securing Azure Virtual MachinesHands-on experience with Azure Sentinel (SIEM)Strong knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD, MFA, RBAC)Experience handling L2/L3 security and network incidentsAbility to independently troubleshoot security, network, and system issuesStrong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsGood to have:Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, or cloud security toolsExposure to automation, scripting, or Infrastructure as CodeFamiliarity with hybrid network environments, SD-WAN, or firewall platformsSecurity certifications (preferred, not mandatory): Security+, CEH, CISSP, Azure Security Engineer
