Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with strong domain expertise in US Mortgage Escrow and Real Estate Property Tax operations. The role requires managing end-to-end tax-related processes, leading a team, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across escrow and property tax functions. 4-6 Years in US Mortgage Domain Minimum 1-2 Years in a Leadership Role (Team Lead / Associate Team Lead) Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team handling US Real Estate Property Tax Research and Escrow operations - Oversee property delinquency monitoring, priors - expsoure to penalty determination verification, including assessment, due dates, payment status, and jurisdiction validation - Manage tax calling activities with US taxing authorities to obtain and confirm tax-related information - Supervise US tax procurement and escrow procurement activities to ensure timely and accurate disbursements - Monitor daily production, quality, SLAs, and turnaround times - Conduct regular quality checks and provide coaching and feedback to team members - Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to tax discrepancies, delinquencies, and research issues - Coordinate with onshore stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve complex cases - Prepare MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for management and clients - Support process improvements, documentation, and training initiatives Role-Specific Requirements: - Prior experience as a Team Lead / Associate Team Lead - Good understanding on performance Review, training, hiring and QC tools - Strong knowledge of US Real Estate Property Tax processes and regulations - Hands-on exposure to US Mortgage - Escrow operations - Proven expertise in Property Tax Verification and tax research - expsoure to penalty determination verification, delinquency handling, due dates, payment status, - Experience in Delinquency monitoring, Disbursement and penalty determination
