Job Description

Overview: Help lead our Business Intelligence (BI) platform that gives clients actionable insights to drive faster, more informed decisions that improve financial performance of their assets. You’ll own outcomes end‑to‑end for critical BI modules—translate market problems into strategy and shippable increments, coordinating multiple scrum teams, and ensuring the product scales, performs, and integrates cleanly with upstream property management systems and the broader RealPage platform. This summary reflects the BI product’s role in delivering portfolio‑level, operational and financial KPIs and other analytics for our customers. Responsibilities: - Creation of product vision, strategy, roadmap (for product modules/Add on products or similar) - Lead process modeling and translates customer needs into requirements. - Plan, design, and analyze user requirements for development. - Breakdown of requirements into Epics/features/stories and acceptance criteria - Identifies cross product dependencies and impact. - Demos (internal or external, as needed) - Analyze & triage product maintenance issues. - Apply broad knowledge to identify and resolve core problems, suggest process improvements, and review technical solutions. - Work and coordinate with multiple scrum teams. - Oversee Scrum team’s backlog creation/refinement. - Plan, prioritize, and organize multiple work streams. - Customer interaction (discovery, user groups) Qualifications: - 5+ years in product management with 3+ years owning analytics/BI or data platform capabilities at enterprise SaaS scale. - Strong technical fluency - able to collaborate deeply with architects/engineers on architecture, data flows, scaling/performance, and platform upgrades without losing sight of customer outcomes. Platform is a SQL server backend, Java front end, and Cognos reporting layer. Cognos knowledge is not required, however strong experience with analytics reporting tools is necessary. - Demonstrated success leading multi‑team delivery, breaking work into epics/features/stories, and managing cross‑product dependencies. Strong collaborative facilitator and relationship builder with engineers, clients, sales, consulting, problem management, and implementation teams. - Proven ability to drive PI/quarterly planning, align and land plans that balance ambition and capacity. - Excellent product discovery, customer interview, and problem‑framing skills; data‑driven decision maker with clear writing and storytelling. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio, and/or user interface design tools. Nice‑to‑have - Experience with enterprise reporting platforms (e.g., IBM Cognos or similar) - Familiarity with real‑estate property management ecosystems and business intelligence for operations/asset management; bonus for exposure to Yardi, MRI, Entrata, ResMan integrations and accounting/reporting artifacts.
