DVT & Reliability Engineering Lead Role SummaryWe are seeking a senior technical leader to own Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Reliability Engineering for TVSE Products including TouchPOS, Thermal Printers, KeyboardsThe candidate must be capable of defining reliability strategy, calculating product lifetime, and building a scalable validation organization. This is a technical authority role in reliability and validation. Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Reliability Engineering LeadershipPerform & Own:MTBF prediction FIT rate estimationThermal derating analysisPower component stress analysisReliability block diagrams (RBD)Weibull life modelingAcceleration factor calculations Define:Product lifetime targets (based on usage)Duty cycle assumptionsEnvironmental stress levels (Country specific conditions)2️⃣ DVT Architecture & GovernanceDefine risk-based DVT frameworkEstablish entry/exit criteria for EVT/DVT/PVTReview and approve test plansEnsure subsystem coverage including RF robustness, Thermal printer head life, Cutter mechanical life, SMPS robustness, LCD burn-in, Life for keyboard switchesImplement structured issue tracking and severity classification3️⃣ Product-Specific Reliability Focus Thermal Printer (eg. Print head life estimation) TouchPOS (eg. Power adapter reliability analysis) Soundbox (eg. Speaker fatigue modelling)⌨ Keyboard (eg. Switch lifecycle validation )4️⃣ Environmental & Market Reliability StrategyDesign validation for ambient/elevated temperature, RH, Dust-prone environments, unstable power gridsPlan accelerated stress tests such as HALT, HASS, Temperature cycling, Power cycling5️⃣ Team Leadership & MentorshipTrain DVT engineers in:Reliability calculationsStructured root cause analysisStatistical sampling methodsWeibull analysisReview failure analysis reportsEstablish validation documentation standardsBuild long-term validation capability6️⃣ Compliance & Certification OversightGuide pre-compliance and certification strategy for:CE markingFederal Communications CommissionRoHSSupport EMI mitigation strategy at PCB and enclosure level.
