The role involves studying international market trends, preparing design proposals, and working closely with merchandising and sampling teams to convert concepts into production-ready products.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CADs and design developments for throws, cushions, rugs, and other home textile productsStudy market trends, color directions, and customer preferencesPrepare design concepts, presentations, and sampling briefsWork closely with merchandising and sampling teams to ensure designs are executed correctlyEnsure designs are practical for production and cost-effectivePrepare offers and sampling ideas based on trends and customer requirementsMaintain organized design and development recordsRequirementsExperience in textile design (home textiles preferred)Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design softwareUnderstanding of weaves, yarns, textures, and textile techniquesStrong sense of color, layout, and trend awarenessAbility to create multiple design options within timelinesGood coordination and communication skillsWork ArrangementWe are open to both onsite (Murthal) and remote working options depending on the candidate’s experience and capability.
