About the jobJob Title: Office Coordinator cum Tendering EngineerJob SummaryThe Office Coordinator cum Tendering Engineer is responsible for managing daily office operations while overseeing the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders. This role combines administrative coordination with technical and commercial tendering expertise to ensure smooth office functioning and successful bid submissions.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Tendering & Engineering DutiesIdentify and monitor tender opportunities through portals and clientsReview tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQsPrepare technical and commercial proposalsCoordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance) for required inputsPrepare cost estimates and pricing analysisEnsure timely submission of bids in compliance with client requirementsMaintain tender database and track submission statusAttend pre-bid meetings and clarify technical queriesFollow up on submitted tenders and negotiate when requiredPrepare post-award documentation and support project handoverB. Office Coordination DutiesManage day-to-day office operations and administrative activitiesCoordinate meetings, appointments, and schedulesMaintain office records, files, and documentationHandle correspondence (emails, calls, letters)Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providersMonitor office supplies and procurement requirementsAssist management with reports, presentations, and documentationEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresQualifications & RequirementsMBA in a relevant field (Operations / Finance / Marketing / Project Management or equivalent)1-5 years of experience in tendering and office administrationKnowledge of tendering procedures, documentation, and costingProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Familiarity with tender portals and e-procurement systemsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesAbility to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasksKey SkillsTechnical analysisCost estimation & BOQ preparationDocumentation managementVendor coordinationAttention to detailNegotiation skillsMultitasking ability
