The role ensures quality patient care, adherence to clinical protocols, optimal staffing, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing day-to-day nursing operations across all unitsSupervise Ward In-charges and Nursing SupervisorsEnsure implementation of hospital policies, NABH/NABL standards (if applicable)Monitor patient care quality and nursing practicesCoordinate staff duty rosters and manpower planningHandle patient grievances related to nursing servicesConduct nursing audits and quality checksParticipate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staffEnsure proper documentation and medical record maintenanceMaintain discipline and professional standards among nursing staffAssist in infection control practices and patient safety initiativesPrepare reports and submit updates to managementQualifications:B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)Registered Nurse & Midwife (RN & RM)Valid State Nursing Council RegistrationExperience:Minimum 8–12 years of clinical experienceAt least 3–5 years in supervisory/administrative roleExperience in multi-speciality hospital preferredRequired Skills:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of NABH standards and hospital quality systemsGood problem-solving and decision-making abilityProficiency in hospital information systems (HIS)Ability to handle emergency situationsWorking Conditions:Full-time positionMay require rotational duties / on-call supportAdministrative and clinical coordination role
