Job Responsibilities for Mechanical Designer (SOLIDWORKS EXPERT) NOTE: NO VIRTUAL INTERVIEW WILL BE CONDUCTED. WHO ARE INTERESTED IN F2F INTERVIEW CAN APPLY  Should have excellent working experience on Solidworks.Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawingsCreates CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) tosupport manufacturing, testing, and assembly, and support components to assist with assembly.Should be excellent working on Weldment, Sheet Metal, Simulation, Part assembly, FEA.(MANDATORY)Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and the production teamCalculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysisCreate designs in line with company procedure, regulations, and client standardsSubmit drawings to upper management and construction teamsUse customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machinesProvide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specificationsFinalize designs and send prints to the production department·        Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity·        Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for production.Ensure raw material used in the product is as per design requirements.Ensure parts going to the vendor for further work meet customer expectations and as per design.Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of productsInspect products to ensure that they meet quality standardsDisassemble product parts to inspect them individuallyMonitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specificationsEnsure that the parts received from the third party vendors like CNC cutting and bending system suppliers to ensure that they are as per the given dimensions and tolerance – then only accept the parts Qualifications for Mechanical Designer2+ years' Industrial experience in an engineering role or related experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of Solidworks modeling, drawings, and machine design with experience in design, and analyses. Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding. Strong computer and mathematical skillsFlexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changeAble to work in a team environmentSelf-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
