The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, preparing budgets, analyzing expenses, and assisting with tax filings. You will collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial documentation and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Location: Malad West - MumbaiExperience: 3–4 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: ₹4,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum (CTC)Key Responsibilities1. GST ComplianceAccurate GST computation and reconciliationPreparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returnsInput Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and vendor follow-upsHandling GST notices, clarifications, and department queriesMonthly reconciliation of GST with books of accounts2. TDS & Direct Tax ComplianceTDS computation and timely deduction as per applicable sectionsFiling of quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)Generation and issuance of Form 16 / 16AReconciliation with Form 26AS and TRACES portalHandling notices and responding to tax queries3. Accounting & BookkeepingPassing Journal Vouchers (JV), ledger scrutiny, and reconciliationBasic accounting entries in Tally (or similar accounting software)Bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and debtor reconciliationMaintaining accurate financial records and documentationAssisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing4. Corporate & Statutory CoordinationLiaising with Company Secretary (CS) for ROC filings and compliance mattersCoordinating with statutory auditors for audit requirementsMaintaining statutory registers and compliance recordsSupporting board documentation and financial data preparationRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong skills in Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation, and Financial AnalysisExperience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation processesBachelor’s degree in Commerce (); preferred3–5 years of relevant accounting and compliance experienceStrong knowledge of GST laws and practical filing experienceHands-on experience with TDS computation and return filingProficiency in Tally (mandatory)Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and journal entriesGood working knowledge of MS Excel
