This position is residential in Barmer and requires staying at the site location. Travel to operating locations may be required, including frequent overnight stays as per operational needs.About the RolePromote and assist all employees in building and engaging in a proactive safety culture.ResponsibilitiesAssist management in communicating, implementing, and clarifying federal and state regulations, HSE/QMS programs, policies, and training requirements.Support facility site leadership with HSE inspections, checklists, audits, and behavior-based safety compliance requirements. This includes but is not limited to:LOTOFall ProtectionSafety EquipmentBest PracticesJSA’sPermitsCompletion of open items in the Action Log SystemObserve and mentor employees performing critical and instructional job tasks. Evaluate performance and effectiveness using Best Practices, STAR, SOC’s, NM, JSA’s, and other Safety Tools.Stop unsafe work when necessary and educate workers through clarification and correction of procedures or recommended practices.Assist Operations Management in conducting investigations, identifying corrective actions, and preparing reports for Near Misses, IFO’s, FSA’s, and FAP’s.Assist in environmental audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.Utilize the DSAIL (Drill Site Action Item Log) to record corrective actions resulting from investigations, checklists, and audits.Ensure site safety readiness and provide necessary support during emergency response situations.Act as company liaison and representative in interactions with contractor and customer employees.Provide on-site training to support Operations Management in policy clarification, LOTO, best practices, and competency evaluations.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar position or industry.High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).Strong commitment to workplace safety and participation in all HSE programs.Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and site workers.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports.Systematic and disciplined problem-solving approach.Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Willingness to travel as required.Must be willing to stay in Barmer (Residential requirement).Preferred Skills3–5 years of additional relevant experience in a similar role or industry.College or Associate degree or technical qualification in Safety or Environmental studies.Industry and/or regulatory certifications and training.Prior Safety or Environmental experience in the oil and gas industry.Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental policies and practices in the oil & gas sector.Pay range and compensation packagePay range or salary or compensation details are not provided in the original description.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
