Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) with an industry experience 08-12 years. This role ensures that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil works comply with international codes, Indian statutory regulations, and project-specific Field Quality Plans (FQP). A critical focus involves verifying the integrity of relocated assets through rigorous non-destructive testing (NDT), welding inspections, and refurbishment validation.Oversee high-pressure welding activities for HRSG and HP Piping, ensuring compliance with ASME Section IX and IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations).Review and approve WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Records).Direct NDT activities including Radiography (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT).Integrity Assessment: Conduct /"Residual Life Assessment/" (RLA) and thickness gauging for relocated assets (Boiler tubes, piping, casings) during the decommissioning phase.Preservation Audit: Verify the quality of preservation (Nitrogen dew point, VCI coverage) to ensure zero degradation during transit.Re-erection Verification: Supervise precision alignment checks and hydro-testing of relocated systems to ensure they meet original design tolerancesCoordinate with Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies and statutory bodies (IBR/CEIG) for stage-wise clearances.Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical Preferred: ASNT / Welding Inspector Certification
