Job Title: Branch Manager – Kolkata Business Unit/Division: Sales & MarketingPurpose of the RoleTo drive branch growth and achieve sales targets by effectively managing sales operations, expanding market reach, and building a high-performance team in the Kolkata region.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn annual branch sales budgeting and ensure achievement of sales targets.Manage end-to-end branch sales operations across channels.Drive geography and channel expansion to enhance market penetration.Ensure achievement of financial goals and branch profitability (PBDIT as per budget).Develop and execute branch sales strategies based on local market dynamics, competition, and seasonal trends.Prepare forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to maximize branch revenue.Assess local market conditions and identify new sales opportunities and demand generation initiatives.Manage branch budget in coordination with the Branch Accountant.Directly oversee key sales portfolios and support the team in closing critical opportunities.Ensure marketing visibility and in-shop execution as per plan and budget.Gather market intelligence on pricing, customer preferences, and competitive movements.Build and develop a high-performance sales team through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.Strengthen customer and channel partner relationships and drive Customer Service Charter implementation.Ensure strong cross-functional coordination for superior customer experience and referral sales.Drive effective communication forums (Town Halls, One IFB, Collabor8, etc.) for branch alignment.Implement directives from National /Zonal management and provide timely feedback.Ensure adherence to all sales processes and governance mechanisms.Conduct daily PJP and performance reviews; enable the team with schemes, manpower, and marketing support.Publish timely MIS on sales performance, profitability, forecasts, and people metrics.Key DeliverablesAchievement of branch revenue and PBDIT targetsMarket share growth in Kolkata territoryExpansion of distribution and channel footprintStrong team productivity and retentionHigh customer satisfaction and service complianceAccurate and timely business reportingExperienceTotal Experience: 12–15 years
