Job Description

Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end hiring for leadership and other roles.Build employer branding and recruitment processes suitable for a growing firm.Ensure complete compliance with labor laws, factory acts, payroll, PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, etc.Coordinate with external consultants, payroll vendors, and compliance partnersHandle audits, inspections, and government filings related to HR Employee Lifecycle ManagementDesign and implement a structured performance appraisal framework aligned with company goalsDrive goal-setting, mid-cycle reviews, and annual appraisal processesWork closely with leadership to ensure fair, data-driven performance evaluationsSupport managers in performance feedback, improvement plans, and career development discussionsOwn end-to-end monthly payroll management for employeesEnsure payroll processes are fully compliant with statutory and company policiesDraft, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and manualsEnsure policies are practical, compliant, and aligned with company cultureDrive employee engagement initiatives across office and plant teamsGood to have:Prior 10+ years of experience in HR generalist roles, preferably in high growth startup.Strong experience in workforce managementSolid understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory complianceProven ability to independently manage the entire HR functionHands-on, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across levelsPrior experience setting up HR systems from scratch is a big plus
