Key Responsibilities:Inspection and Testing: Perform regular inspections and tests of materials, products, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, IEC, etc.).Process Monitoring: Monitor the implementation of QC procedures and protocols during the manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning phases of renewable energy systems (solar panels, wind turbines, battery storage, etc.).Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, testing, and non-conformance reports. Prepare QC documentation, including inspection reports, corrective action logs, and test results.Compliance and Standards: Ensure all products and processes adhere to relevant national and international standards (e.g., IEC standards, environmental regulations, safety standards).Root Cause Analysis: Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues or defects in products or processes. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of quality practices across various phases of renewable energy projects.Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the company’s quality control programs, procedures, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.Supplier Quality Management: Review and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.Training: Train site personnel on quality control best practices, safety procedures, and relevant quality standards.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within the renewable energy, construction, or manufacturing industries.Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, such as solar, wind, and energy storage systems.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis, inspection techniques, etc.).Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
