Job OverviewA Homeware Product and Furniture Photographer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content that showcases home décor, interior accessories, and furniture products for e-commerce, catalogs, advertising, and social media. This role combines technical photography skills with styling, lighting expertise, and an understanding of interior aesthetics to visually communicate a brand’s identity.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute studio and on-location photoshoots for furniture and homeware productsCapture high-resolution images suitable for e-commerce platforms, print catalogs, websites, and social mediaStyle products in visually appealing environments that align with brand guidelinesCollaborate with creative directors, marketing teams, stylists, and designersSet up lighting, backgrounds, and props to enhance product features and texturesEdit and retouch images using professional software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)Ensure color accuracy and consistency across product imageryManage file organization, image libraries, and digital asset storageMeet production deadlines and maintain shooting schedulesStay up to date with interior design and visual merchandising trendsRequired Skills & QualificationsProven experience in product photography, ideally within homeware or furnitureStrong portfolio demonstrating lighting, composition, and styling expertiseProficiency in DSLR or mirrorless cameras and studio lighting equipmentAdvanced skills in photo editing and retouching softwareStrong attention to detail, especially in texture, fabric, wood grain, and finishesUnderstanding of brand storytelling and visual consistencyAbility to work independently and as part of a creative teamTime management and project coordination skillsPreferred QualificationsDegree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related fieldExperience with lifestyle shoots and interior photographyKnowledge of e-commerce image standards (e.g., white background product shots, scale references)Basic knowledge of videography or short-form content creation
