Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain all service related equipment in accordance with the standards established by management in order to provide clients and employees with a pleasant and safe facility. Develop and implement an effective preventive program for the physical building and all systems throughout. Track the prepared preventive maintenance schedule.Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary information in any/all forms as it relates to business and product development. Maintain and monitor energy and water consumption through meter readingsResponsible for optimization of energy conservation measures.Perform failure analysis and testing on revisions and new product developmentsIn case of emergency / crisis, take charge of the situation with a focus on safety for all Should be well versed with ULFM standards. All requisite Daily reports, SOPs Periodic Checks, Maintenance schedules followed by team regularly and are updated and rectified as requiredTeam ManagementCentrally manage the entire technical operations including a team of HVAC, Electricians, and Plumbers and optimize the break down time.Works closely with outside contractors to ensure timely acquisition of service and completion of projects to ensure guest satisfaction.Budget ControlRecommend the department's budget and capital expenditures and manage expenses within approved budgetFormulate operating budgets and manage overall operations within cost & time norms in a cost-effective mannerFloat tenders and create cost comparisons for new workVendor managementIdentify & develop alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective execution of site activities & timely delivery of entire project work so as to minimize project cost.Manage day-to-day interaction with third party contractors and consultants effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.Follow up with project manager and vendors for timely completion of projects and resolve the site issuesCustomer ManagementDrives the site culture thereby delivering on positive customer experienceDevelop relationships with the clients, with a single minded focus on delivering a differentiated and personalized experienceEnsure client understanding and feedback loopDemonstrates urgency in response and handling of client problems and complaintsSkills and Knowledge: Should be an expert in Mechanical and Electrical worksThorough knowledge of applicable safety codes and regulationsGood team management, communication and project management skillsExcellent problem solving skills and analytical aptitudeQualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical engineering Experience: 15-18 years of overall experience
