We are looking for a talented Student Actuary with strong analytical skills and experience in P&C/Health Islamic Insurance to join our actuarial team. The role involves supporting actuarial activities across Data Analysis, Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting and Risk Management.Hands-on experience in SQL and R/Python will be a strong advantage and will place candidates at the top of the shortlist.Responsibilities:Assist in regulatory reporting including reserving and IFRS 4 & IFRS 17 reportingAssist in portfolio analysis of Motor and Medical lines of businessAssist in pricing activities as requiredSupport product development initiatives as requiredAssist in analytical work of any other natureRequirements:Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Finance1-3 years of experience in an actuarial function with at least 1 year in a non-life insurance/Takaful roleUnderstand technical and financial concepts used in non-life Insurance/TakafulWorking toward actuarial qualification (minimum 2 exams completed)Strong Excel skillsStrong analytical, mathematical and statistical skillsBroad knowledge of applicable UAE laws and regulationsProficiency in SQL and R/PythonNice to have:Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauExperience with automation tools such as Alteryx (ETL tool)
