Company: AllvestJob Title: Equity Research Analyst – FundamentalDepartment: Portfolio Management Services (PMS)Reporting To: Principal Officer – PMSLocation: Kurla, Mumbai (On-site)About Us We are a fast-growing Fintech Broking Startup, expanding into Investment Managementwith a newly formed subsidiary in the process of launching its own PMS and AIF offerings.As part of our growth journey, we are building a strong Portfolio Management Team andare looking to hire a Fundamental Equity Research Analyst who is passionate about buyside investing.Role Overview The Equity Research Analyst – Fundamental will be responsible for conducting in-depthfundamental research, building financial models, generating investment ideas, andsupporting portfolio construction and monitoring for PMS strategies.Key Responsibilities • Conduct fundamental equity research using both top-down and bottom-upapproaches for medium-term investments• Independently build financial models, including DCF and relative valuationmodels• Prepare detailed research reports and present investment ideas to the PrincipalOfficer (PMS)• Attend quarterly earnings concalls of portfolio companies and update financialmodels accordingly• Track news flow, corporate developments, sector trends, and overall marketmovements• Participate in company management meets and maintain relationships withInvestor Relations teams• Prepare and maintain regulatory-compliant PMS reports for portfolio companieson a regular basis• Generate new investment ideas independently and present them periodically• Support day-to-day research, data analysis, and PMS operational requirements• Monitor macro-economic, micro-economic, sectoral, and government policydevelopments• Prepare market outlook reports or presentations periodically for clientcommunicationPreferred Skills & Competencies • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with sound understanding of valuationmethodologies• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling• Working knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel; Python is a plus)• Ability to write clear, structured fundamental research reports and marketoutlook notes• Familiarity with research platforms such as ACE Equity, Bloomberg, Screener,FactSet, or similar• Prior experience in PMS research is an added advantage• Strong presentation and written communication skills• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a startup environmentQualification & Experience • Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (or pursuing CFA preferred)• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Fundamental Equity Research Analystin:• Retail or Institutional Broking, or• Portfolio Management Services (PMS)• Sector Exposure: Sector-agnostic candidates preferred• Sell-side analysts with relevant experience and a strong inclination to work on the• buy-side are welcome to apply
