We currently have 8 projects with around 4500 custom designed, furnished homes as well as commercial and institutional buildings, covering a total saleable area of approximately 14 million square feet under construction at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.Role Purpose:The Senior PHE (Plumbing) Execution professional is responsible for the craft-led execution of all Plumbing and Public Health Engineering (PHE) works for the assigned project, ensuring high standards of workmanship, quality, safety, and system reliability.The role provides technical and on-site leadership and owns the PHE scope through execution, testing, commissioning, and system stabilisation.Scope of Responsibility Craft execution of all PHE / Plumbing service packages for the assigned project, including:Water supply systems (internal & external)Drainage and sewage networksStormwater systemsIrrigation systemsPump rooms, sumps, tanks, and associated plumbing infrastructureSite-level technical authority for PHE worksExecution management of PHE contractors and vendors, strictly from:Workmanship and finishQuality of executionCraft disciplineSafety behaviour and complianceGuidance and supervision of PHE execution engineersExecution coordination with adjacent MEP trades and civil worksOversight of testing, commissioning, flushing, pressure testing, and system stabilisation to ensure reliable operationThis is a pure execution role. There is no accountability for material procurement, manpower sourcing, machinery planning, commercial management, or contract administration.Position in the OrganizationLeads:Engineers – PHE (Plumbing) ExecutionInterfaces with:Electrical, HVAC, FPS, and Infra execution leadsPlanning & MEP Coordination (execution readiness and inputs)Design / Engineering teams (execution clarifications, RFIs)Contractors and specialist agencies (execution and commissioning)Site MEP delivery teamsKey AccountabilitiesPHE Craft ExecutionExecute all PHE / Plumbing works strictly as per approved GFC drawings, specifications, and execution methodologies.Ensure correct sequencing, installation practices, slopes, gradients, and execution discipline across all plumbing work fronts.Execution Readiness & ConstructabilityReview issued GFC drawings from a PHE execution and constructability perspective.Ensure execution readiness by either clearing GFCs for execution or raising RFIs for clarifications required to proceed.Work closely with Planning & MEP Coordination and Design teams to prevent execution delays due to drawing ambiguities or interface gaps.Technical Oversight & CraftsmanshipProvide hands-on technical guidance to PHE execution engineers and contractor teams.Uphold high standards of workmanship, including jointing quality, alignment, slope accuracy, and system integrity.Resolve execution-level plumbing and drainage issues decisively and promptly.Testing, Commissioning & System ReliabilityEnsure PHE systems are executed, tested, flushed, pressure-tested, commissioned, and stabilised as per approved protocols.Drive closure of commissioning observations and ensure leak-free, blockage-free, and hydraulically sound systems prior to handover.Safety & Quality LeadershipDemonstrate visible safety leadership for own teams and contractors.Enforce plumbing, confined-space, excavation, and site safety norms with zero tolerance for unsafe practices.Ensure first-time-right execution and adherence to quality standards.Team & Contractor PerformanceGuide, mentor, and review performance of PHE execution engineers.Set and enforce clear expectations on quality, craftsmanship, and safety for plumbing contractors and vendors.Key DeliverablesPHE / Plumbing works executed to approved workmanship and quality standardsSafe, compliant, and defect-minimised executionPlumbing systems tested, commissioned, stabilised, and ready for reliable operationDisciplined PHE execution teams and contractor work frontsJob SpecificationsEducationB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (Mechanical preferred for PHE roles)Formal training or certification in Plumbing / Public Health Engineering systems is an advantageExperience6–15 years of hands-on experience in PHE / Plumbing execution on large construction or real estate projectsProven experience leading site-based PHE execution teams and managing contractor outputsStrong exposure to testing, commissioning, and system stabilisation of plumbing networksCore CompetenciesDeep technical expertise in PHE / Plumbing execution and commissioning, with a strong grasp of site realitiesCraftsmanship-led mindset with uncompromising standards on quality, safety, and system integrityVisible on-site leadership with strong execution discipline and follow-throughAbility to guide and manage the performance of PHE craft teams and contractors/vendors against defined expectationsClear, concise, and confident communicator, able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams through strong interpersonal skillsCalm, decisive, and execution-focused approach, with high ownership, reliability, and accountabilityComfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder project environments
