We work with diverse industries to enhance sustainability, manage risks, and drive positive impact. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a seasoned professional to join with a focus on ESG/Sustainability advisory services.Position: Associate DirectorPosition PurposeRole requires the person to lead ESG consulting in BFSI sector, comprising Banks, Insurance companies, asset managers, AIF/Private EquitiesThe position expects person to deliver high quality solutions to clients at the same time support in sourcing business by leveraging industry connects The role requires candidate to work in environment with diversity of work, and someone whoembraces to work both independently and in teams.The role requires the candidate to demonstrate the high degree of problem-solving capacityand ability to come up with innovative solutionsStrong knowledge on concepts like ESG, climate change, ESG score cards, ESG reporting standards, regulationsKey ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of ESG consulting services to BFSI sector, such as climate change – physical and transition risks assessment, TCFD reporting, financed emission, development of ESMS, climate policy framework, developing ESG score cards, conducting impact assessmentDeveloping proposals, engaging with clients, support in sourcing business for the executionParticipation in various ESG forums, publishing articles on various emerging topicsBuild relationships with clients through supporting account management and project deliveryPerson should be hands on execution skills with minimal intervention from othersSkill set required:Strong domain knowledge on Sustainability, leading practices and regulationsStrong understanding of ESG aspects in Banking and Insurance sectorsStrong knowledge on international frameworks, such as IFC and ADBStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent in making impactful presentationsIntermediate to advance level Microsoft Excel and Word skillsAbility to multitask. Should be able to lead multiple projects and deliverablesAbility to work Independently or within group as per project requirementsEducation and Experience:CA or MBA finance from reputed instituteAdditional certifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Change or related discipline would be a plusPreferably 8-10 years of experience in Banking, Insurance or AIFs/Private Equity space would be preferred.
