The Lighting R&D Manager role involves designing, developing, and testing of complete lighting applications & Products. (Lighting Design, Mechanical & Electronics & Optics) for innovative lighting Products. This includes Simulations, And Testing of Mechanical, Electronics & Optics for understanding and improving Predictive performance of the product. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Lighting Design, optical design, Led engineering, Mechanical Part Design And Assembly, programming skills (e.g., MATLAB, Python), Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this role, driving the development of cutting-edge lighting solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test Complete Light Products. (Lighting Design, Mechanical & Electronics & Optics)Create prototypes and conduct experiments to validate design concepts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics into lighting products.Develop and maintain technical documentation for Complete Lighting & Optical designs.Write and debug Modelling software (e.g., MATLAB, Python).Lighting Design & Mechanical Design & Assembly, Led Selection, Simulation Optimization.Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to peers.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in embedded electronics.Participate in the development of technical roadmaps and product strategies.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.Key CompetenciesResearch and development of Mechanical, optics, electronic-efficient lighting solutions.Design, testing, and optimization for Complete Lighting systems.Integration of advanced technologies in lighting Products.Project execution with technical excellence.Innovative solutions for Optics efficiency.Optimized design for lighting systems.Strategic implementation for seamless operation.Ensuring quality and performance standards.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree in Electronics, Electrical Eng. Mech. Eng., Optical Eng. or a related field is essential. Specialization in power electronics is highly desirable.Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years in Application & product design and development within the Lighting sector, particularly in lighting applications.Skills:Process optimization expertise.
