We act courageously and are uniquely positioned to be a source of stability in a world of evolving healthcare needs.Viatris empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.We do so via:Access – Providing high quality trusted medicines regardless of geography or circumstance;Leadership – Advancing sustainable operations and innovative solutions to improve patient health; andPartnership – Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Indirect Sourcing - Deputy Manager role will make an impact.Receives purchase requisitions and initiates procurement process.Processes the requisitions for POs from pricing contracts or will fetch the pricing from the vendors.Prepares comparative statements and enables negotiation.Creates purchase orders and submits to vendors.Follows up for on-time / early delivery of materials and services based on end users requirement.Follow-up for documents including COA, COC, QM, Vendor qualification documents etc.Coordinates with commercial, clearance and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of materials.Coordinates with Stores, Users, Accounts and Finance on post PO activities.Works closely with Payable team in ensuring release of payments to vendors.Works closely with Operations team on the material requirement planning and work towards that to arrange the materials on time.Knowledge about OEM spares and consumables, preferably in sterile operationsWorking on continuous improvement in implementation of Alternative vendors / Payment terms enhancements / Items consolidation / TAT reduction from PR to PO / Auctions, Process atomization, Tracking Raw materials trends etc..Updates superiors and end users on status on regular basis. Raises concerns if any while ensuring service levels to end users.Generates weekly, monthly reports based on the activities on status, progress and spend.Knowledge:Knowledge of pharmaceutical allied industry, formulation manufacturing process, materials, services, regulatory requirements.Knowledge of SAP-MM, MS Office, Import formalities with respect to 100% EOU & SEZ plants. Knowledge of procuring Machinery spares, Engineering Components, GMP Consumables, General Consumables etc.Knowledge of Service Procurements like AMCs, Equipment repairs and General Services like Fabrication etc.Location: Bangalore (Jigani)
