Job Title: Process Engineer - SMT with 6-9 years of experience Location: E-city, Hyderabad Department: Process Engineering Reports To: HOD- Production Engineer & Operation Excellence Job Summary: The Engineer/Sr. Engineer is responsible for overseeing the SMT (Panasonic), PSMT THC, PCB Separation, ICT, FT & PCB coating. The role ensures NPD activities such development plan, SMH, Process examination, PFD, PFMEA, QCP & WI, Customer audit, Iso/IAFT audit readiness. Optimize the operational efficiency, compliance with safety regulations, and cost-effective lean practices.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for Electronics Assembly SMT/THC/Coating/PSMT line Process engineeringactivities.• Have a good knowledge on lean manufacturing concept.• Attending day to day open issues of the Process related Problems.• Taking Corrective Action & Preventive action on in process defects/c problems & safety issue• Ensure the Periodical Activity like Process capabilities, Gauge R& R, MSA studies• Document preparation like For QC process Char, PFMEA, Process flow diagram, Standard Manhour chart, Process examination sheet, Layout Preparation• Ensure the ECI Implementation on time & co-ordinate with R&D team to ensure the targetdate.• Schedule Preparation for New project Implementation & Ensure on time Implementation ofNew project.• Equipment Specification Preparation for New equipment's or for existing machinemodification.• Plan, Preparation & Action implementation for Safety Promise.• Co-ordination & follow up with the suppliers for Equipment Development.• Finding, Developing & tune the supplier according to Exicom Requirements• Conducting the Equipment inspection & Machine Capability study at the supplier place beforedelivery.• Plan Monthly wise cost saving Activity & Implementation of the Same.• Responsible for getting Quote, PR raising & Follow up of Material from the supplier for the PERequirements.• Conducting Pp, Ppk Study for New layout trail.• Drawing preparation for Modification of Jigs & Fixtures.• Preparation of documents to Maintenance department for Line handover with critical spareparts list & Periodical check sheet.• Ensure the Proper Training to Production department on the New product & Assembly lines.• Co-ordination between the Maintenance & production departments to ensure the SmoothProcess flow.• Preparation of ISO/IATF 16949 documents /EMS documents.• Preparation of Problem & countermeasure sheet, ensuring action to be taken & completionwithin Target dates• Study & Improve on Process related Constraints, Productivity Related issues & PlanCountermeasures.• Self-skill development on SMT Machine/PCB routing/ICT/coating/EOL/FT & Process operation.• Finding the Process related Improvement Activities & Implementation of Kaizens.• Ensuring & Auditing the Stock taking Activity.• Preparation of Facilities for New Product development like Racks, Chutes.• Perform Other work as Assigned by Asst Manager, Manager or Divisional Head.• Preparation of Equipment installation Report and closing the GRN on time without delay.
