The ideal candidate willcombine deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies with strong businessacumen and the ability to lead complex data initiatives from conception throughDelivery.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DesignDesign and architect end-to-end data solutions leveraging Azure cloudservices and on-premises Microsoft infrastructureDevelop data architecture strategies that align with business objectives andtechnical requirementsCreate and maintain architectural documentation, data models, and technicalspecificationsEstablish data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices acrossthe organizationEvaluate and recommend modern data platforms, tools, and technologieswithin the Microsoft ecosystemTechnical LeadershipLead the design and implementation of data warehouses, data lakes, andanalytics platforms using Azure services (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake,Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks)Architect hybrid data solutions integrating on-premises SQL Serverenvironments with Azure cloud servicesDesign scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Pipelines/Notebooks, AzureData Factory, SSIS, and related technologiesEnsure data security, privacy, and compliance across all data solutionsProvide technical guidance on database optimization, performance tuning,and disaster recovery strategiesProject ManagementLead data architecture projects from initiation through successful deliveryCollaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, resources, andDeliverablesManage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectivelyIdentify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecyclesCoordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, andbusiness stakeholdersBusiness PartnershipPartner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate theminto technical solutionsCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders inclear, business-focused languageConduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations that balancetechnical excellence with business valueStay current on industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to drivebusiness outcomesRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering rolesExpert-level knowledge of Azure data services including Microsoft Fabric,Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and AzureDatabricksStrong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (on-premises) includingdatabase design, optimization, and administrationDeep understanding of both cloud and on-premises infrastructurearchitecturesExperience with data modelling techniques (dimensional, relational, NoSQL)Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and at least one programming language (Python,C#, or PowerShell)Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworksFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutionsProject ManagementProven track record of successfully delivering complex data projectsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneouslyBusiness & CommunicationExceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiencesStrong business acumen with experience translating business requirementsinto technical solutionsDemonstrated success working with executive leadership and businessstakeholdersExcellent presentation and documentation skillsCollaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Fabric Data EngineerAssociate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer AssociateExperience with Power BI and the Microsoft analytics stackKnowledge of real-time data processing and streaming architecturesFamiliarity with machine learning and AI integration in data platformsExperience with cloud migration and modernization projectsBackground in specific industries relevant to our business
