Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL DeveloperLocation: ITPL, BangaloreWorking model: WFORole: Permanent/fulltimeExperience: 3 to 5 years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 daysResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient database solutions.Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.Experience with performance tuning techniques, including the use of Explain Plan and other optimization tools.Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting.Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.Experience with Agile development methodologies.Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
