The 3D Printing Engineer will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting 3D printing equipment, overseeing the printing process, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. The role will also involve collaborating with design teams to turn concepts into printable designs, optimizing designs for print, and performing post-processing tasks. Additionally, the engineer will evaluate and implement new technologies to improve 3D printing capabilities and manage inventory for printing materials. Printer training, both software and hardware is also mandatory. QualificationsProficiency in Printing technologies and processesStrong Communication skills for collaboration with design and production teamsBackground in Mechanical Engineering with a thorough understanding of mechanical systemsExperience in Product Design and an aptitude for creating functional designsHands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) softwareStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAdaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlinesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferredPrior experience in the 3D printing industry or manufacturing sector is an advantage
