Senior AIS Testing Professionals – Multiple OpeningsLocation: Siemens Kalwa Works Airoli, MumbaiIndustry: Medium Voltage Switchgear ManufacturingProduct: AIS Panels (3.3kV – 36kV)We are hiring experienced professionals in Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Testing across multiple seniority levels — from hands-on testing engineers to team leaders and managers.If you have worked on MV switchgear testing, FAT, protection systems, or panel testing, we would like to connect.Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Technical ExecutionPerform routine & type testing of MV AIS panels as per IEC/IS standardsConduct IR, CRM, HV withstand, functional & interlock testsTroubleshoot testing issues and support resolutionRead SLD, wiring diagrams, protection schemesVerify CT/PT polarity, relay logic and trip circuitsEnsure readiness of panels before FAT / customer inspectionDemonstrate FAT testing to customersSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with EHS, PTW, HIRA processesFollow work instructions, quality manuals and testing protocolsMaintain calibration and records of testing equipmentParticipate in ISO, EHS and factory auditsSupport LEAN / productivity improvement initiativesTeam & Operations Responsibilities (For senior engineers, supervisors & managers)Allocate testing tasks and manage daily outputSupervise test engineers and techniciansReview test procedures, reports and documentationInterface with customers during witness FATTrack KPIs, quality issues and site feedbackMentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teamsLead improvement projects in safety, productivity or qualityRequired Background:EducationDiploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full-time only)Experience Range5–20 years in AIS / Switchgear TestingExposure to MV panels, substations, protection relays, FATCandidates from testing, commissioning or substation background can applyTechnical Skills We Look ForMV switchgear testing proceduresProtection relays & control schemesIEC 62271 / IS standards knowledgeFAT / factory testing exposureElectrical drawings & logic understandingPanel interlocking & protection systemsExperience with testing instruments & documentation toolsRole Fitment Based on Experience5–8 yrs: Testing Engineer / Sr Executive8–12 yrs: Supervisor / Lead Testing Engineer12–20 yrs: Testing Manager / Operations LeadWhy Apply?Opportunity to work on critical power distribution equipmentExposure to large infrastructure and industrial projectsCareer growth across technical & leadership tracksStable manufacturing environment with long-term prospectsIf you have experience in AIS, MV switchgear, relay testing, or panel FAT, we encourage you to apply.
