Job Summary:MEP - QS and Billing Engineer Exp 2 to 4 yearsResponsible for accurate measurement, billing, and documentation for MEP projects. Ensure timely submission of RA bills, final bills, and payment follow-up.Key Responsibilities:1. Measurement & Quantity Verification- Take site measurements as per approved drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Networking)- Prepare BOQ comparison sheets- Verify executed quantities with site engineers- Maintain measurement sheets with supporting documents2. RA Bills & Final Bill Preparation- Prepare RA bills as per work progress- Prepare and submit final bill after completion- Link measurements with BOQ items- Ensure rate as per PO / Work Order3. NT (Non-Tender) / Extra Items Handling- Identify extra items not covered in BOQ- Prepare rate analysis for NT items- Get approval from PMC/Consultant/client- Maintain proper backup (mail approvals, site instructions)4. Coordination- Coordinate with site team, purchase team, PMC/client/consultant, and accounts team- Attend joint measurement meetings5. Documentation & Compliance- Maintain approved drawings, work orders/POs, measurement sheets, and certification copies- Ensure GST compliance in tax invoices- Maintain billing tracker and payment status6. Reconciliation & Cost Control- Compare executed Qty vs BOQ Qty- Monitor budget vs actual consumption- Highlight excess quantity or variation- Prepare material reconciliation (if required)7. Payment Follow-up- Track submitted bills- Follow up for certification- Coordinate for invoice submission after approval- Maintain outstanding statementSkills Required:- Proficiency in MEP billing softwares (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD)- Knowledge of MEP systems and industry practices- Strong analytical and coordination skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Good communication and interpersonal skills
