A willingness to travel is essential.Key focus areas include automation of manufacturing lines through PLC and robotics integration and leveraging multi-domain knowledge to drive innovation.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, integrate, and validate mechatronic systems for new technology initiativesSupport installation, commissioning, and field deployment of automated systemsProgram, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots and collaborative robots (cobots)Perform multi-domain debugging across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software systemsCollaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and field operations teamsPrepare technical documentation, SOPs, installation guides, and project handover materialsContribute to system optimization, reliability improvements, and continuous enhancement of deployed solutionsProgram and integrate PLCs, robotics, and control systems to automate manufacturing linesMust-Have SkillsMechanicalStrong understanding of machine elements, mechanisms, and tolerance stack-upsProficiency in interpreting CAD models, assemblies, and GD&T principlesFamiliarity with actuators, motors, pneumatics, and mechanical subsystemsElectrical & ElectronicsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsHands-on experience with industrial wiring, sensors, actuators, motor drives, and control panelsWorking knowledge of analog/digital electronics and basic PCB-level debuggingProgramming, Controls & RoboticsPractical experience with PLCs and associated programming toolsHands-on programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of industrial robots and cobotsExposure to robot motion control, safety configurations, end-effector integration, and communication interfaces (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)Ability to integrate PLCs, robotics, and control systems for manufacturing automationWhy Join Us?At Tata Electronics, you’ll be part of a team that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
