Job Title : Manager — Corporate Development & Strategic FinanceLocation: Corporate Office, Jubilee Hills, HyderabadReports to: Joint Managing Director (dotted line to Finance & Business Development)Role SummaryThe Manager – Corporate Development & Strategic Finance will play a critical role in driving strategic growth initiatives and supporting enterprise-level financial decision-making. The position has two primary mandates:Lead M&A and investment evaluation initiativesDevelop robust strategic and operational financial models supporting pricing, capacity planning, and portfolio prioritization decisionsThis role operates at the intersection of strategy, finance, and business development, directly supporting senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Development & TransactionsLead valuation and transaction modelling for M&A, minority investments, joint ventures, and licensing opportunities (DCF, rNPV, comparable analysis, scenario modelling)Support due diligence processes by integrating commercial assumptions, manufacturing constraints, and regulatory timeline risksDevelop comprehensive investment notes and leadership presentations highlighting value drivers, key risks, downside scenarios, and recommended deal structuresStrategic & Operational FinanceTranslate transaction models into long-term business cases supporting pipeline prioritization, pricing strategy, capacity allocation, and market entry decisionsDevelop ROI, IRR, and payback models for capital expenditure, technology transfers, and expansion programsConduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning, leveraging advanced analytical techniques (including Monte Carlo simulations, where appropriate)Prepare leadership KPI dashboards covering backlog coverage, win rates, margin analysis, cost-to-serve, and capital productivity metricsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Business Development on proposals and term sheet evaluationsWork with Finance on costing structures, budgeting inputs, and financial planningCollaborate with Operations to incorporate yield assumptions, cycle times, and capacity constraintsEngage with Regulatory teams to reflect timeline and compliance considerations in financial modelsThe role requires the ability to convert cross-functional inputs into clear, data-driven recommendations for senior management.Candidate Profile6–8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance with demonstrated ownership of financial modellingAdvanced Excel modelling expertise, with the ability to build structured, auditable, and decision-ready financial modelsStrong analytical and presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level materialsPractical understanding of biopharmaceutical cost drivers and regulated (GxP) operating environmentsExposure to CDMO/CMO pricing models and capacity planning frameworks preferredAbout Biological E.
