Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for NMC Cell design and development in the Cell R&D organization to achieve company’s goal. The role requires to lead design and development team for NMC technology for various format of battery cells manufactured in EESL Gigafactory.Key Responsibility:1. Recycling Process OperationsSupport operation of battery dismantling, shredding, and separation processes.Assist in hydrometallurgical / pyrometallurgical / mechanical recycling steps.Monitor process parameters to ensure stable recovery of Li, Ni, Co, Mn, Cu, Al, Graphite.2. Process Optimization & Yield ImprovementAnalyze mass balance and recovery efficiency.Support initiatives to improve metal recovery yield, purity, and throughput.Assist in reducing chemical consumption, energy use, and waste generation.3. Safety, EHS & ComplianceEnsure safe handling of end-of-life (EOL) and scrap batteries.Follow SOPs for fire prevention, thermal runaway control, and chemical safety.Support compliance with BWMR, EPR, CPCB/SPCB regulations.Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.4. Quality Control & TestingSupport sampling and testing of black mass and recovered materials.Coordinate with lab teams for chemical analysis (ICP, titration, pH, moisture).Ensure recovered materials meet defined quality specifications.5. Equipment & Maintenance SupportAssist in troubleshooting shredders, reactors, filters, dryers, and separators.Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.Support commissioning and ramp-up of new equipment.6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain production, safety, and quality records.Support preparation of regulatory, EPR, and internal reports.Assist in SOP updates and process documentation.7.
