Cvent is seeking a talented Web Designer who has a good eye for design and coding abilities. The job involves working on Cvent's CMS software and mobile app to build event registration websites for clients.The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, both speaking and writing, to talk with clients from other countries and understand their needs.This job requires working night shifts to match US hours and a desire to succeed in a busy work environment. The candidate should be eager to achieve great success in their career.Experience: Minimum or 3 yearsRole and responsibilities:The personnel would take full responsibility to/for: Work on Cvent’s Internal CMS tool to implement design mock-up/element as per client’s requirement, by writing HTML and CSS code Find necessary tweaks and workarounds while working with a technically restricted CMS environmentDesign art works for clients for their mobile apps as per their requirementsAct as a project manager and maintain strong communication with clients and other project stakeholdersTake various business decisions based on cost and prioritizationWork as a project owner and SMEEnsure the best possible experience for our customer's experience fits in with and contributes to the broader Cvent ecosystem of productsMake executive decisions whenever required and act as a team player by providing excellent design solutions as an individual contributorGo the extra mile to provide an appropriate solution to the clientDrive actions to the closer and ensure a solution to a problemEssential Requirements: Be a nice person who cares about their work and respects workplaceBe a curious person committed to continual learningBe capable of writing clean, well-thought-out, and reliable CSS and HTML codeBe comfortable working on a project from the original fuzzy brief through development and beyond with minimal oversight requiredBe a problem solver who is not afraid to share ideas and open discussionsBe a strong communicator who writes and speaks wellBe great with technical documentationBe a person with great stakeholder and real-time management with strong business acumenBe as self-motivated and go-getter personMust have Technical Skills and Experience: Excellent HTML/CSS hand coding skill (not necessarily HTML 5/ CSS3)Good experience with jQuery implementation and JavaScriptGraphics Designskills through Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorStrong sense of color combination, aesthetics, typography, interactivity, etc.Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in web-design/development/computer-aided design roleBachelor’s degree is a mustPreference would be given to candidates holding Bachelor’s degree in multimedia/web development/graphic design/fine arts/BFA/MFA or, the similar coursesWorkdays: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) and sometimes over the weekends as per business needs.Working Hours: The position requires the designer to work in non-rotational Night Shift (6:30 PM 3:30 AM – East coast hours) on weekdays and sometimes over the weekends on a need basis Cab / Shuttle for pickup and drop off
