Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Job: Talent Acquisition will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end hiring strategies across VIBGYOR Group of Schools. The role will lead the Vertex TA team and collaborate closely with School HR Operations teams to ensure timely and high-quality closures of all positions. The incumbent will independently manage senior-level hiring, drive compensation benchmarking for critical roles, and build a strategic campus hiring program to develop a sustainable early talent pipeline — all contributing to the organization’s overall talent strategy.Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition LeadershipLead, guide, and mentor the Vertex TA team and School HR Operations teams to achieve recruitment objectives across academic and non-academic positions.Ensure seamless coordination between Vertex TA and school HR teams for efficient execution of hiring plans.Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle — workforce planning, sourcing, evaluation, offer management, and onboarding.Strategic & Senior-Level HiringIndependently manage senior and leadership-level hiring for schools and central functions.Develop strong talent pipelines for niche, high-impact, and future-critical roles.Partner with functional and academic leaders to anticipate hiring needs and create proactive sourcing strategies.Campus Hiring & Emerging Talent StrategyDesign and drive a strategic campus hiring program to attract and nurture high-potential young talent across academic, administrative, and functional roles.Partner with universities, teacher training institutes, and B-Schools to build and sustain an early-career talent pipeline.Integrate campus recruitment into long-term workforce planning to support organizational growth and succession planning.Compensation Benchmarking & Market IntelligenceConduct compensation benchmarking for key and senior roles to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.Provide insights on talent availability, salary trends, and competitor hiring strategies to support business decisions.Process Excellence & Stakeholder ManagementDrive process improvements, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and superior candidate experience.Use recruitment analytics to monitor KPIs such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and source effectiveness.Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across schools and central functions.Employer Branding & Talent EngagementStrengthen Vibgyor’s employer brand through innovative sourcing campaigns, digital presence, and strategic partnerships.Promote consistent and engaging candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.Key CompetenciesDealing with Ambiguity: Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment; adapts quickly to change.Result Orientation: Focused on achieving targets and driving measurable outcomes.Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Assertiveness: Able to influence and challenge constructively while maintaining positive relationships.Leadership: Motivates and develops teams to deliver high performance and service excellence.Stakeholder Management: Builds trust and credibility with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
