From full-scale shows to immersive workshops, your work will place student expression centre stage—building a culture of excellence, inclusion, and fearless creativity.If you are an outstanding practitioner eager to build a worldclass Performing Arts programme and ignite the potential of the next generation of performers, we would be delighted to hear from you.The RoleTeaching & LearningPlan and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more performing arts disciplines (e.g., drama, dance) across the school.Design learning experiences that foster students’ creativity, confidence, collaboration, and self-expression.Support students in building technical and performance skills in preparation for school events, showcases, and examinations.Integrate elements of the Cambridge International Curriculum in a way that is engaging and appropriate to learners’ needs.Performance & EventsDirect or support school productions, assemblies, concerts, and seasonal performances.Facilitate and lead extracurricular performing arts clubs, workshops, and competitions.Encourage student participation in inter-school or community performing arts festivals/events.Identify and nurture individual talents, providing opportunities for growth beyond the classroom.Curriculum & CollaborationContribute to the development and enrichment of the Creative and Performing Arts curriculum in alignment with Cambridge learning goals.Collaborate with other departments to support interdisciplinary projects and themed events.Maintain a safe, inclusive, and dynamic studio/classroom environment conducive to performance learning.Assessment & ReportingUse appropriate formative and summative assessments to track and report student progress.Provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents in line with school expectations.Support students preparing for formal assessments (where applicable) under the Cambridge frameworkProfessional Growth & ConductStay current with trends and innovations in global performing arts education.Participate in school development initiatives, CPD sessions, and school-wide events.Model the Queen Elizabeth’s school, Gurugram’s values and commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and global citizenship.The PersonQualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Theatre, or a related disciplineRecognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent)Additional certifications in drama or dance performanceTraining in or familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum (preferred)Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an international, premium, or Cambridge International Curriculum schoolDemonstrated success in directing performances, school productions, or student showcasesPersonal QualitiesPassionate about performing arts and its role in holistic student developmentCreative, organised, and able to lead large-scale events or performancesStrong classroom management and student engagement strategiesA collaborative, culturally responsive educator with a global mindsetKindly visit the TES job posting for more details:
