Registrar – Gurugram (International Branch Campus)The campus will deliver globally benchmarked academic programmes with strong industry integration and research-driven pedagogy, maintaining full academic alignment with its home campus.Role OverviewThe Registrar will serve as a senior institutional leader responsible for academic administration, governance, and regulatory compliance for the India campus.This is a foundational leadership role in a greenfield setup, responsible for building robust academic systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining global academic standards in coordination with the parent university.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Administration & GovernanceLead enrolment, academic calendar, scheduling, examinations, and certification.Maintain secure and compliant academic records.Serve as Secretary to statutory bodies (Academic Council, Boards of Studies, Examination Boards).Establish governance frameworks appropriate for an international branch campus.Regulatory Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NIRF, and other applicable authorities.Lead accreditation documentation, statutory filings, and audit readiness.Drive academic quality assurance and programme review processes.Maintain alignment with the parent university’s academic standards.Student Policy & Academic ConductDevelop policies for progression, credit transfer, attendance, and academic integrity.Oversee graduation eligibility, appeals, grievances, and disciplinary processes.Institutional OversightDraft academic policies, statutes, and SOPs.Manage regulatory risk and inspections.Contribute to strategic planning and institutional development.Represent the institution in regulatory and academic forums.QualificationsExperience10–12 years in higher education administrationMinimum 5+ years in a senior role (Registrar / Deputy Registrar or equivalent)Strong knowledge of the Indian higher education regulatory ecosystemExperience in international or transnational education models preferredPrior experience in setting up new institutions/campuses desirableEducationMaster’s or Doctoral degreeCertifications in higher education governance/quality assurance preferredKey CompetenciesExpertise in UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NIRF frameworksFamiliarity with academic ERP / SIS platformsHigh documentation accuracy and compliance orientationStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skillsAbility to operate within a multi-regulatory, international environment
