Your role will be to watch, analyse, and label human movement in video recordings, identifying dance sequences, movement qualities, body mechanics, spatial patterns, and stylistic elements with expert-level precision.This is not a performance or teaching role. It is detail-oriented analytical work that draws directly on your trained eye as a choreographer. You will use your deep understanding of how the body moves to systematically describe and categorise movement in ways that a non-specialist simply cannot.If you have spent years studying, creating, and deconstructing dance, and you are comfortable with structured, methodical work, this is an opportunity to apply your expertise in a new and well-compensated context.What You'll DoReview video recordings of human movement and dance performancesIdentify, segment, and label distinct movement phrases, transitions, and sequencesAnnotate movement qualities such as weight, flow, time, and spatial intentClassify movements by style, genre, technique, and level of complexityDescribe spatial patterns, formations, and use of levels (floor, standing, aerial)Identify timing, musicality, rhythm patterns, and synchronisation in group choreographyFollow detailed annotation guidelines and apply labels consistently across videosRequirementsMinimum 3 years of professional experience as a choreographer (any genre: contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, commercial, traditional, etc.)Strong ability to observe, deconstruct, and articulate movement with precision and consistencyExcellent attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, structured analytical workProficiency in EnglishReliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for focused video review
