Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Who we are looking for State Street Markets Global Treasury operations is responsible for the daily settlement, netting validation, security master maintenance, and claims management for all Treasury business activity. The individual should possess extensive knowledge and experience on securities, settlements, claims, rates, products, and related financial attributes. Will require to work closely with Business teams, Functional teams, Business Risk, Compliance and Technology teams on day-to-day basis to ensure seamless BAU. What you will be responsible for As Senior Associate you will Ensuring timely settlement of cash flows and Investigation and resolution of failsValidate and confirm FX trades (spot, forward, swap, NDFs, options) with counterparties in a timely manner.Manage the end-to-end FX confirmation and Settlement process in line with market deadlines and internal SLAs.Send and match trade confirmations using platforms such as SWIFT, email, or third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS, BBG and CLS, LCH).Perform FX Netting Via email/Call or vendor platforms/ third-party systems (Misys,FXall, GTSS).Monitor unmatched or disputed trades and resolve discrepancies.Confirmation of DVP collateral and repo cash settlement detailsNetting and releasing cash paymentsMonitoring pricesSupporting Front Office trader queriesMonitoring of Clearance/Settlement,Client and Management ReportingLiaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams to support the full trade lifecycle.Communicate effectively with counterparties and custodians to ensure timely resolution of issues.Maintain up-to-date records of confirmations and settlements.Ensure settlement of FX trades on value date by liaising with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams.Monitor nostro accounts to ensure funding and settlement accuracy.Support audits and ensure adherence to operational risk and compliance policies.Partner in process improvement, project management or technology development and testing across multiple teams and/or divisionsSupport applicable Change the Bank and Run the Bank Projects impacting the team, from inception, providing SME support, testing and monitoring into ProductionWhat we value These skills will help you succeed in this role Risk mitigation, problem solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to think critically and resolve complex problemsDrive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiencyStay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to FX Confirmation and Settlement operations.What You'll Bring to the Role Front-to-back knowledge of the FX Confirmation and settlement processes, systems, markets and instrumentsHands on experience in managing Interbank, Corporate, CLS, CLS_NET settlementsWorking knowledge in Settlement/Payment department & understand payment life cycleFamiliarity with systems such as ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL and Misys SWIFTEducation & Preferred Qualifications Graduate and above preferably in Finance, BBM/BBA. MBA (Finance), or any degree related to Finance or CommerceGood knowledge in Back-office confirmations and settlementKnowledge of Global Markets, custody, cash management and payment systemsGood Communication Skills both written and oral5 to 7+ years of experience in Financial Services industryAdditional requirements: Certification on NCFM / CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment)Knowledge on Macros, SQL & MS Access Database queriesShift Timings: 7pm to 4amPersona: 4 days' work from officeLocation: Bangalore / Hyderabad / MumbaiAre you the right candidate?
