Position Title: EPM Center of Excellence (COE) Lead – Oracle Fusion EPM & HyperionExperience Requirement: Minimum 15 Years | Role Classification: Strategic Leadership, Strong Execution Focus, Delivery Oversight, Presales EngagementRole Summary:The EPM COE Lead will be responsible for establishing and scaling the Oracle EPM COE, encompassing Planning, Consolidation, Reconciliation, Tax, and Enterprise Data Management (EDM). Key responsibilities include driving excellence in EPBCS and FCCS implementation, formulating the presales strategy, developing proprietary accelerators, mentoring consulting talent, and serving as a trusted advisor to Chief Financial Officers (CFOs). The role mandates profound technical and functional expertise, evidenced by a minimum of three complete lifecycle implementations each in EPBCS and FCCS, coupled with substantial experience in Hyperion Planning.Principal Accountabilities:EPM COE Strategic Direction: Define the COE's vision, establish rigorous delivery standards, develop proprietary solution accelerators, create the competency framework, and devise the cross-sell strategy.Core Solution Leadership (EPBCS & FCCS): Architect sophisticated enterprise planning models (including Financial, Workforce, and Capital Expenditure planning) and robust global consolidation models (addressing Ownership Management, Intercompany Eliminations, Foreign Exchange, and Multi-GAAP reporting). A prerequisite is the successful completion of a minimum of three full lifecycle implementations for each of these modules.Capability Expansion (ARCS, TRCS, EDMCS): Articulate the strategic approach for implementing Account Reconciliation, Tax Provisioning, and Master Data Governance solutions during presales and advisory engagements.Presales and Solution Architecture: Lead discovery workshops, define comprehensive EPM roadmaps, design technical architectures, manage the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and effort estimations, and conduct expert demonstrations of EPBCS/FCCS products.Hyperion (On-Premise) Governance: Provide expert guidance to delivery teams on Essbase architecture, Lifecycle Management (LCM) migration processes, security frameworks, governance protocols, and complex troubleshooting.Financial Functional Consulting: Possess a strong foundational background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Close and Consolidation processes, Intercompany Accounting, Transfer Pricing methodologies, and Multi-currency management. Execute finance maturity assessments and provide authoritative advice on close process optimization.Talent Management and Team Development: Mentor and coach EPM consultants, define structured career progression paths, and drive certification initiatives and skill uplift programs.Essential Experience Criteria:A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, coupled with demonstrable leadership in a minimum of three full lifecycle implementations of both EPBCS and FCCS, significant involvement in Presales/Product Demonstration leadership, relevant Hyperion Planning exposure, and proven experience in global finance transformation projects.Certifications: Mandatory: Possession of an Active Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud Certification (EPBCS OR FCCS).Academic Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance is highly desirable, OR an equivalent graduate degree with extensive finance domain expertise.Performance Indicators (Success Metrics): EPM service revenue growth, Presales conversion rate, Delivery quality assessment scores, Accelerator development output, and Consultant skill uplift quantifiable metrics.Ideal Candidate Profile: A strategic EPM leader who exhibits the financial acumen of a CFO, the design proficiency of an architect, the persuasive capability of a presales director, the execution discipline of a program owner, and the organizational leadership of a practice head.
