Experience the power of a game-changing career.Duties and Responsibilities:Data Model Design· Define and maintain scalable data models and schemas that support the storage, processing, and retrieval of data across analytical and operational workloads.Data Integration· Architect robust ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) patterns to integrate data from diverse sources into a unified and consistent format.· Define reference designs for batch, micro-batch, and streaming ingestion using AWS (e.g., Glue, Kinesis), and govern seamless data flow between systems, databases, and applications.Data Quality & Governance· Define data validation, profiling, and cleansing frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability.Emerging Technologies· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and architecture; evaluate tools and patterns (e.g., Hudi, Iceberg, lakehouse architectures, software serverless designs) and drive adoption roadmaps.Database Management· Provide architectural oversight for relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL and document stores (e.g., MongoDB), and distributed/columnar systems (e.g., Redshift) to match workload characteristics.· Define indexing, partitioning, compression, and retention strategies across stores.Performance Optimization (Job & Platform)· Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data processing and storage systems; lead job optimization for Spark/PySpark/Glue (partitions, file sizing, shuffle minimization, join strategies, compaction).· Optimize SQL (Athena/Redshift), workload isolation, and cost/performance trade-offs (e.g., table formats, caching, Z-ordering/clustering where applicable).· Define orchestration and workflow patterns (Step Functions/Lambda) and standardize ELT pipelines and table formats· Leverage Ansible for configuration management and post provisioning automationMandatory Skills Required:· AWS data stack (hands on architectural depth): S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, and streaming (Apache Kafka or Amazon Kinesis).· Coding Tech Stack: Python, PySpark, SQL; strong grasp of distributed data processing and lakehouse patterns.· Performance & job optimization: Spark/Glue job tuning, SQL optimization (Athena/Redshift), partitioning, file size management, and cost/performance governance.Secondary Skills Required:· DevOps & CI/CD for data platforms (build/deploy/test pipelines, artifact management).· Platform monitoring & FinOps: Metrics, logging, tracing, cost monitoring/optimization.· AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics) and experience in platform security & compliance frameworks.· Exposure to Mongo DB, No SQL, Ansible, Terraform
