About the RoleIf you are a driven, results-focused individual with a passion for growth and relationship building, our Business Development Internship offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our sales and customer engagement teams to help expand business opportunities while providing timely, value-driven solutions to prospective and new members. You will support lead generation and follow-up efforts, nurture relationships, convert prospects into active members, and contribute to strategic marketing initiatives that drive overall business growth.Responsibilities:About the job: Selected executive's day-to-day responsibilities include:Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.Manage the email account to promptly address the queries, respond over email or calls promptlyConnecting the members/ potential members with the relevant business development department or customer engagement team for further actionCreate and update the leads tracker and lead to closure on all the leads generatedHelp them understand about the product, answer their questions, and suggest how our product could help them.Follow up with all prospects promptly and close sales.Document all pertinent customer information and conversations in the CRM system.Conduct onboarding calls with new members to explain key program benefits and support the initial build-out of their profile.Execute post-sales feedback and re-engagement calls to collect member feedback and evaluate satisfaction levels. Achieve the given targets.Marketing Support:Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns across different channels.Use the leads generated through the campaigns for conversion into membersAssist with administrative tasks related to marketing and sales activities.Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in B2C marketing and sales.Training: The required training will be provided by the IET team in order to fulfil the outlined roles and responsibilities. Qualifications:Any GraduateCommunication Skills: You should have excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and confident voice. You should also be a good listener and be able to understand the prospect's needs and challenges.Persistence: Cold calling often involves rejection, so it's important to be persistent and not give up easily.Product Knowledge: You need to have a deep understanding of IET India's offerings and how they benefit potential customers. This will allow you to answer questions effectively and tailor your pitch to their specific needs.Relationship Building: The goal of a cold call isn't just to make a sale, but to build a relationship with the prospect. Be friendly, and professional, and show genuine interest in their business.Following a Script: Having a strong script can help you stay focused and ensure you cover all the important points during your call. However, you should also be able to adapt the script to the conversation and avoid sounding robotic.Handling Objections: Be prepared for objections and have responses ready to address them.
