This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, coordinating end-to-end test support, and ensuring all testing processes meet quality standards and project timelines. The incumbent works closely with project managers, developers, quality engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and continuous improvement in testing methodologies. Details on your work arrangement (including on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How You’ll Succeed (responsibilities):Testing Expertise Lead the investigation and translation of business and technical requirements into test casesSupport end-to-end testing activities for multiple projectsDevelop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases and schedulesDevelop and maintain automated test cases and test suites using automation toolsExecute manual and automated test cases, document results, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycleSupport test leads in preparing the status reports, test metrics, and risk assessments Ensure all testing activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Automation Expertise Create and execute automation strategies, tools, and frameworksBuild automated testing scripts and integrate them with DevOps tools Leadership Skills Ensure test teams are compliant with CIBC’s test methodologies and industry best practicesIdentify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologiesProactively identify and address issues throughout all test phasesProvide guidance to test team members in business domain, functional testing, automation, and non-functional testingProject Coordination Identify and communicate obstacles or risks impacting project timelines or successProvide regular status updates to internal QA team and escalate issues as necessaryEnsure all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to project timelines, budgets, and goalsExperience: 4+ years of experienceWho You Are (skills/qualifications):Must Have Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Test Coordination role, with proficient knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, and Defect ManagementShould know Databricks as an application for cloud ETL testing Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation or equivalent technical roleHands-on experience with test automation tools (Tosca DI, Selenium, Robot framework, Parasoft SOAtest, Postman, RestAssured, Cucumber, or similar)Preferred experience with Python, Java, and SQL databasesExperience with test management tools (JIRA, OpenText AQM)Strong organizational, time management, and communication skillsAbility to coach and mentor team members, and influence outcomes through expertiseCommitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry developmentsWhat CIBC India Offers:At CIBC India, your goals are a priority.
