Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Solar Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning solar power systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, preparing PV layouts, performing technical evaluations, and collaborating on electrical system designs. The Solar Engineer will also support project planning, provide technical expertise, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. QualificationsKnowledge of the Solar Industry, including an understanding of solar power systems and renewable energy technologies.Experience in PV Design and Electrical Design for solar installations.Familiarity with solar system components, energy evaluation tools, and performance analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct site assessments and create technical reports.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.Proficiency in design software for solar and electrical systems is a plus.Knowledge of government regulations and permitting processes related to solar energy is advantageous.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-discipline project teams.
