We process transaction data from the exchanges in front- and backend, serving and create interfaces to our own and external systems via messaging or webservices and create reports for various stakeholders, for example.We take a domain-driven approach and work closely with the business departments to understand their needs and develop efficient software solutions for them: this includes planning, design, and development of new functions. Technologies such as OpenShift for containerization are used, and the use of Google cloud is also on the agenda.Your profile:Experience in leading teams in software developmentExperience in an agile environment / Scrum approachYou understand yourself as Engineering manager.Good understanding of Domain Driven Design and modelling of IT systemsStrong background in software engineering and methodology -combined with lots of hands-experienceVery good knowledge in at least one object-oriented language (preferably Java)Excellent communication skills on the management levelExcellent language skills in EnglishTeck stack:Must have skills: Java, Docker MySQL or PostgreSQLGood to have skills: GCP/AWS/Azure, Spring People management + Lead the team technically together with the Tech leadSector:Leading a team of 14 people with the following roles: Software Engineers, Functional Analysts, Cloud Engineer, Test EngineerYou help set up your area and you enable fast and smooth onboarding of your employeesTogether with your Technical Lead and our QA Engineer, you will ensure a high level of technical quality in the implementation.You closely align with the Product Owners, the Scrum Master and the ECC Head of Units for Software Development and Operation, to enable seamless collaboration across the entire product team (30 people).You clarify questions and remove blockers, e.g. in the Development infrastructureJava Web application with Spring/Spring Boot and HibernateOn-Premises solution with MySQL and OpenShiftGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) with e.g. Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/SubFinance: Clearing, financial settlement, payment, banksCommodity trading: electric power, gas
