Professional experience:Degree: Diploma/ Degree in technical discipline,Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Heavy industries with similar large-scale projects and context in Contract, Engineering and Construction activities for Onshore (or Onshore yards) projects,Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in design and quality control of rotating equipment, including compressors.Knowledge of API 610Technical competencies:Experience in Supplier management for high value, schedule critical compressor packages.Experience with engineering, Quality control, expediting, inspection and testing activities for compressor packages.Technical knowledge of centrifugal compressor packages and associated auxiliaries to facilitate prompt resolution of technical matters.Familiar with Supplier drawings and documents scope and contents for compressor packages.Familiar with engineering of complex compressor packages and standards / specifications involved.Familiar with multi-disciplinary co-ordination required for compressor packages.Familiar with design reviews required for compressor packages as well as with Supplier's involvement in project design reviews.Familiar with certification requirements and any third-party approvals for the complete package and equipment within the package.Familiar with key engineering inputs required from Supplier to support project engineering progress, including but not limited to Civil, Piping and layout, Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls.Familiar with inputs required from Supplier for interface design between package and plant.Familiar with inputs and documents required from Supplier for installation, mechanical handling, preservation, start-up and operation of the package.Familiar with requirement of Supplier's involvement in site acceptance test, installation and commissioning and inputs / documents required from Supplier for these activities.Management skills to enforce schedule and cost adherence.Understanding of industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM)Recommended:API Inspector certification (API SIRE), ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (ASQ CQI) or equivalentLevel II in NDE technics (UT, PT, MT, RT)Welding inspection certification (min CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent)Behavioral competencies:Ability to adapt and to represent the Company in discussions and meetings with Vendors, main Contractor and Subcontractors,Proven records of ability to effectively integrate a team and adhere to team-spirit rules.
