Turbostart has also launched 5 Centers of Excellence across Tech, Marketing, Sales, UI/UX and Investment Banking to support the growth of our startup network.Know more about us on are looking for sharp energetic minds to join our rapidly growing ecosystem and help take Turbostart and its portfolio companies to new heights!Role: Senior Associate-Finance & AccountsWe are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented finance professional to handle end to end finance operations and provide assistance to our portfolio entities as and when needed.Experience Required: 4-5 years of post qualification experience in handling Accounts (Tally or QuickBooks)Location: Bangalore (on-site)What you will do:Assist with bookkeeping (Tally), inter-company transactions, invoicing and pay-roll, GST, TDS, PT, PF related activities/ complianceWork with startups in the portfolio and assist them in formalising business plans, and track their performance against defined goals. Put together relevant metrics in support of tracking and measurement.Oversee government, legal, and regulatory requirements along with diligent record keeping and compliance with all necessary laws/guidelinesTax due diligence - Identify, highlight and quantify material historical and potential tax exposures / benefits and issues involving risk of the targetPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s and portfolio entities’ needs including preparation of periodic budget forecastsPrepare and maintain cash flow analyses as neededPrepare year-end books for auditProcess vendor payments and employee reimbursementsRespond to inquiries from employees regarding budgets, disbursement and other finance related queriesAny other assigned duties with respect to review of Tally/ Accounts, GST returns, TDS returns etcOur ideal candidate:CA with 4-5 years experience in handling Accounts (Tally or QuickBooks)Good knowledge of tax and regulatory laws (Income-tax Act, stamp duty related matters etc.)Overall experience in GST - requirements for filing returns, reconciliations, etcTeam PlayerEffective communication and presentation skillsPersistent and PersuasiveFlexibility and adaptabilityWork experience in a Fund, (Big 4) Consulting Company or similar organisations.
