They will work closely with cross-functional IT teams to integrate database solutions that support business needs. As a Senior Professional DBA, they will also drive performance tuning initiatives, ensure robust data security, and develop and implement reliable backup and recovery strategies. This role is strictly involved in the design and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development & demo and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.Your role in our missionEssential Job FunctionsMonitors database activity and file usage and ensures necessary resources are present. Recommends and implements tuning opportunities to improve system response and run times.Defines logical attributes and data inter-relationships and designs the structures to accommodate database non-production implementation, storage, maintenance and accessibility to enhance performance.Optimizes database accessibility by developing load balancing architectures and processes to eliminate down time for backup processes in non-production. Functions as a technical project leader on a portfolio of databases, including installations and upgrades of DBMS software. Integrates databases and commercials of the shelf software; resolves conflicts between databases and shelf software, operating systems, and open-source applications.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years of IT experience including 7+ years of experience in Oracle DBA role.Experience working with computer hardware and software installation/upgrading proceduresExperience working with database creation techniques and database management systems (DBMS) featuresExperience working with performance tuningOther QualificationsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood programming skills for database management and general softwareGood communication skillsLeadership skills to guide work teamsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to anticipate problems and take decisive actionWork EnvironmentWork from Office.Willingness to work in 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST Shift.Weekend work based on request.
