Location: HyderabadExperience: 5–8 YearsIndustry: Pharma / API / CDMORole OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Supply Chain professional with strong expertise in Raw Material procurement and strategic sourcing within the CDMO/API pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, vendor lifecycle management, and driving cost optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & ProcurementLead raw material, KSM, and critical consumables procurement for CDMO/API operations.Manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes, techno-commercial evaluations, and vendor finalization.Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.Drive cost optimization through effective negotiation and alternate sourcing strategies.Vendor Development & QualificationIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in coordination with QA and technical teams.Lead vendor qualification processes ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance.Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and risk assessments.Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.Operational ExcellenceEnsure timely material availability aligned with production plans.Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and lead time optimization.Ensure compliance with documentation (PO, GRN, invoices) and ERP/SAP transactions.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to GMP, ESG, and regulatory guidelines in procurement practices.Identify supply risks (lead time, quality, geopolitical, single-source dependency) and implement mitigation strategies.Candidate Profile5–8 years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement in Pharma, API, or CDMO industry.Strong hands-on experience in Raw Material sourcing for API/CDMO projects.Proven experience in RFP management, strategic sourcing, and vendor negotiations.Expertise in vendor development and qualification processes.Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements.Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
