With the launch of the Urban Teacher App, a community and recruitment platform for teachers, we help schools streamline teacher hiring and connect them with quality educators.As we expand our school partnerships across Hyderabad, we are strengthening our Talent Acquisition team to manage recruitment operations efficiently and at scale.Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and execution-focused Junior Talent Acquisition Executive who can independently manage teacher hiring requirements for partnered schools.You will work closely with the Head of HR and take ownership of end-to-end recruitment, from understanding hiring mandates to coordinating interviews and ensuring closures within defined timelines.This role requires strong follow-up discipline, structured evaluation skills, and the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and understand hiring requirements from partnered schoolsSource and screen teacher profiles based on role requirementsConduct first-round interviews independentlyEvaluate candidates on communication skills, subject expertise, classroom readiness, and overall suitabilityMaintain structured candidate trackers and hiring dashboardsShare shortlisted profiles with schools within defined timelinesCoordinate interview scheduling between schools and candidatesFollow up consistently on feedback and hiring decisionsSupport in closing open positions within agreed timelinesEnsure positive candidate and stakeholder experienceKey Skills & Requirements1–2 years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition (education hiring preferred)Experience in sourcing candidates from Naukri, Indeed & other educational hiring platformsBackground in HR / MBA HR / BBA / Psychology / related fieldsStrong communication skills in Telugu and English (Hindi is a plus)Confident in conducting structured interviewsGood evaluation, judgment, and screening abilityOrganized, detail-oriented, and process-drivenAbility to manage multiple roles simultaneouslyStrong ownership and follow-up mindsetWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone who can independently manage hiring mandatesSomeone who understands urgency in recruitment and works with timelinesSomeone comfortable speaking with principals, school HR teams, and candidatesA professional who ensures closures, not just interview coordinationA self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?Direct mentorship from the Head of HRReal end-to-end hiring exposureHigh ownership from Day 1Opportunity to grow within a fast-scaling EdTech ecosystemBe part of building a structured education recruitment verticalIf you’re serious about building your career in Talent Acquisition and want hands-on ownership instead of backend coordination work, we’d love to hear from you.
