Note: The applicants should be currently residing in KeralaRole OverviewWe are looking for a Technical Lead – Backend to lead the design, development, and scalability of our backend systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in backend development, system architecture, and team mentorship. You will work closely with product managers, frontend teams, and DevOps to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems powering millions of users.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, architecture, and development of scalable backend systems and services.Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and system design principles.Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.Mentor and guide backend engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.Build and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices using modern backend frameworks.Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend architecture.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.Work with databases to design efficient data models and queries.Architect systems capable of handling large-scale traffic and high availability.Drive improvements in system performance, monitoring, logging, and reliabilityTranslate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Requirements6–9 years of experience in backend development.Strong experience with Java and backend frameworks (Spring Boot or similar).Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).Experience working with distributed systems and scalable architectures.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools is a plus.Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.About Us?Mygate is India’s leading community living SaaS platform, trusted by 4 million+ residents across 25,000+ gated communities.
